MEMPHIS, Tennessee –Memphis 901 FC returned to the pitch this morning for full-team, contact training after receiving approval from the Shelby County Health Department and the City of Memphis. The team will continue adherence to the USL Return to Play Protocols.

Players and technical staff underwent COVID-19 testing last week as a part of league protocols, which resulted in zero positive tests, and will continue to be tested regularly throughout the season.

901 FC and the USL are set to resume the 2020 season in July, with an anticipated return date of July 11.

“We are excited to resume training and be back to full soccer activities,” said 901 FC President Craig Unger. “We will continue to work with health authorities and follow the strict protocols laid out by the USL to make our return to the pitch the safest possible environment for all involved.”
