LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Lights FC announced on Wednesday evening it had parted ways with Head Coach Eric Wynalda.

In a statement issued on social media, Lights FC Owner and CEO Brett Lashbrook said, “Effective immediately, Eric Wynalda is no longer Head Coach of Las Vegas Lights FC.”

Wynalda had led Lights FC to an 11-15-8 record in the 2019 USL Championship season, placing the side 13th in the Western Conference. Las Vegas had opened the 2020 season with a 1-1 draw on the road against San Diego Loyal SC in March before the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
