Breese Stevens Field launches 'Dinner at Breese' restaurant series

Event will kick off Friday, featuring Ribmasters WI during Juneteenth

Breese Stevens Field is excited to announce the Dinner at Breese restaurant series, which will launch this Friday, June 19. Dinner at Breese will feature a different local Madison restaurant approximately two times per week offering a picnic-style food service in what will become the largest socially distanced outdoor restaurant space in Madison. 

This Friday, to kick off the series, Ribmasters WI and their owner Atonye Marsh will be serving food from 5-9 p.m. Opening night of the series coincides with the Juneteenth celebrations which commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. Breese Stevens Field is proud to launch the series with a Black-owned restaurant. Beer, wine, water and soda will also be available for purchase. There will be no admission fee to get into the limited-capacity evening series at Breese.

Upcoming restaurants will include Fairchild, Salvatore’s Tomato Pies, and Heritage Tavern.

Ribmasters will be serving a wide variety of food, including:

-Rib tips
-Ribs
-Pulled pork sandwiches
-Loaded pulled pork nachos
-Turkey tips
-Grilled chicken
-Corn on the cob
-Homemade baked beans
-French fries

Patrons will be able to support local restaurants and enjoy their meal in a physically distanced setting at the stadium. Markers will be placed throughout the facility to ensure patrons are maintaining a safe distance away from each other.
