USL eCup Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 3

Jordan Farr (IND) – Farr produced a perfect cross and volleyed finish to put Cote D’Ivoire ahead in what resulted in a 3-1 victory against Real Monarchs SLC to ensure the Eleven retained their place in Division B.

Akil Watts (LOU) – The LouCity youngster was on fire for most of the week to claim the Division C bracket, and that included this ripping header to go ahead against North Carolina FC in the bracket semifinals.

Mark Lindstrom (PIT) – Feel on a finish doesn’t get much better than this from Lindstrom, whose perfectly-placed chip from the edge of the penalty area beat both the goalkeeper and a trailing defender.

Corey Whelan (PHX) – Given time and space to line up a finish from 25 yards out, Whelan picked out the bottom-right corner of the net with a beautiful bending finish that kicked off a winning week in Division B.

Panin Boakye (TUL) – Two touches to a goal don’t come much more beautiful than this, with the through-ball behind the defense and chipped finish by Boakye providing the highlight moment of a solid week.
