EDINBURG, Texas (Fri., May 22, 2020) – Kembo Kibato and Rio Grande Valley FC claim the crown in DIvisin A for week 3 of the USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition with a 2-1 win over Saint Louis FC. 

Saint Louis, representing France, kicked off the matchup with a goal by Antoine Griezmann in the 25th minute, 0-1. Before the halftime whistle, France conceded a foul inside the box where Neymar Jr. converted the penalty kick sending the shot to the right side of the goal, 1-1. 

France continued to be a threat but Laure Santeiro with a left footed strike earned the lead for Brazil in the 74th minute after a center pass inside the box, sending the ball past the goalkeeper, 2-1. Three minutes later, France attacked the goal, but Brazil’s keeper blocked the attempt.
