USL eCup Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 1

Josh Atencio (TAC) – Defiance’s Atencio took the aerial route against Louisville City FC, coming down from on high with the controlled finish to help seal an opening round win.

Evan Slabicki (PHI) – Slabkicki read the carom off the arena wall perfectly to set himself up for the half-volleyed finish that helped the Union II earn victory against Toronto FC II.

Jacob Walraven (NTX) – Walraven followed up the rebound off the end wall brilliantly to finish first time in his clash against the Richmond Kickers.

Trent Wieland (TAC) – Wieland’s dribbling skills were on display regularly in his opening victory for FC Tucson, including this piece of wizardry in Game 2 of the contest.

Raul Gonzalez (MEM) – Gonzalez produced a fine individual effort for 901 FC, clipping the ball forward before taking the ideal angle to finish at the near post from the left side of the area.
