A spectacular save by Louisville City FC’s Ben Lundt has claimed the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week for Week 1 of the 2020 regular season. The 6-foot-6 shot-stopper needed every inch of his frame to squeeze a header by Robbie Kristo onto the crossbar and out in LouCity’s 1-0 road win against NCFC, claiming 64 percent of the poll.

Benjamin Lundt (LOU) - #NCvLOU, 3/7/20: Lundt made a sensational stop, trapping the ball on the underside of the crossbar and out to deny North Carolina FC’s Robbie Kristo from close range.
Brian Syvestre (MIA) - #STLvMIA, 3/7/20: Sylvestre got down quickly to his right to turn away a shot by Saint Louis FC’s Russell Cicerone early in Miami’s first game in the Championship.
Kyle Morton (STL) - #STLvMIA, 3/7/20: Morton parried a fierce effort by Miami’s Vincent Bezecourt that was headed to the bottom-right corner before recovering quickly to keep a pair of Miami players from putting home the rebound.
Sean Lewis (TUL) - #SACvTUL, 3/7/20: Lewis made numerous big saves early in Tulsa’s visit to Sacramento, including this double-stop that kept out efforts by Mario Penagos and Sam Werner.
Brandon Miller (CLT) - #SKCvCLT, 3/8/20: Miller put in a Man of the Match performance with 10 saves, and his denial of Sporting II forward Wilson Harris’ diving header late in the first half was the best of the game.
