ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (January 31, 2020) -- The Tampa Bay Rowdies have signed goalkeeper Ian McGrane to a one-year contract ahead of the 2020 USL Championship season, pending federation approval. Per club policy, further contract details were not disclosed.

McGrane, 24, joins a goalkeeping corps that also includes Evan Louro and Macklin Robinson.

“We’re delighted to add Ian to a goalkeeping group that we feel has a lot of quality in it,” Rowdies Head Coach and Technical Director Neill Collins said. “The competition between Evan, Macklin and Ian every day will make them all grow as players and benefit the Rowdies as well.”

A Pennsylvania native, McGrane finished his collegiate career in the SEC with the University of South Carolina while playing on amateur sides FC Miami City and SC United Bantams. After graduating from South Carolina, McGrane played the 2019 season with AFC Ann Arbor in the NPSL.
