Sitting both as furthest western city in the state of Texas and on the borders of New Mexico and Mexico, El Paso is one of the most unique cities in the United States.
A new documentary – Uniting El Paso, for which the trailer was released last week – looks at the home of USL Championship club El Paso Locomotive FC and its surrounding region. It also provides an inside look at how the club and community came together when tragedy struck last fall.
Featuring interviews with Locomotive FC President Alan Ledford, Head Coach Mark Lowry, players Omar Salgado, Chapa Herrera, Memo Diaz and Andrew Fox, as well as members of the club’s supporters group the 8th Notch, the documentary is currently available exclusively through the new El Paso Locomotive FC app, which is now available for download on both Apple and Android devices.
Uniting El Paso is the second in a series being produced in a collaboration between the United Soccer League and Reel Life Studio that brings to life stories from around the USL Championship.
The documentary follows last fall’s United | The New Mexico United Story, which can be viewed in its entirety below.
