LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – Senegalese forward Alioune Ndour highlighted the eight players announced by Loudoun United FC as returning for the 2020 USL Championship season on Tuesday as the club made its first roster moves of the offseason.
Ndour was again acquired on loan from MFK Vyskov after impressing during his late-season stint with the club in 2019 during which he scored five goals in four appearances for Head Coach Ryan Martin’s squad. Ndour was nominated as a finalist for the USL Championship’s Player of the Month award in October for his performances.
United also announced it had signed 17-year-old Ted Ku-DiPietro to his first professional contract with the club, bringing the former D.C. United Academy standout in on a pro deal after a 2019 season that saw him make nine appearances, four starts and record one goal and one assist.
Additionally, LUFC announced it had re-signed defenders Peabo Doue and Robert Dambrot in addition to goalkeeper Colin Miller, while defenders Jeremy Garay and Adam Lundegard and midfielder Jacob Greene will return to the side on USL Academy contracts.
