TAMPA, Fla. – The Professional Referee Organization has announced the officiating crew for the 2019 USL Championship Final, with Timothy Ford appointed as the head referee for the contest between Louisville City FC and Real Monarchs SLC at Lynn Stadium on Sunday night (7:30 p.m. ET | ESPN2 | ESPN Deportes).
Named the Fourth Official for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game, Ford was the head referee for 13 games in Major League Soccer this season. Previously during the 2019 USL Championship Playoffs, Ford was the head referee for Birmingham Legion FC’s 3-2 victory against North Carolina FC in the Eastern Conference Play-In Round, while last season he led the crew in the 2018 Western Conference Final between Orange County SC and Phoenix Rising FC.
Ford is joined in the officiating crew by Assistant Referees Jeremy Kieso and Cory Richardson, Fourth Official Malik Badawi and Reserve Official Chris Elliott.
