There is, perhaps, no more compelling story of an expansion club binding itself to the community it calls home than that of the USL Championship’s New Mexico United.
In the 12 months since its brand was officially unveiled, the club has becoming a source of civic pride for the state of New Mexico, producing record crowds at Albuquerque’s Isotopes Park, while capturing hearts and minds across the country with memorable moments on the field, including a trip to the Quarterfinals of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
In the first of a new short documentary series produced by the United Soccer League in conjunction with Reel Life Studios, find out why New Mexico United has brought its community and its state together in a manner unlike anything that has come before.
