USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month Finalists – September

Diego Restrepo (AUS) - #COSvAUS, 9/7/19: Restrepo made a diving save to his right on Jordan Burt’s penalty kick for Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and recovered to smother the rebound effort by Tucker Bone.

Ben Willis (RGV) - #AUSvRGV, 9/1/19: Willis came off the bench as a first-half substitute and was immediately called into action, diving across his goal to push Kleber’s free kick onto the crossbar in RGVFC’s trip to Austin.

CJ Cochran (FRS) - #FRSvPHX, 9/21/19: Cochran’s second penalty kick save of the week denied Rising FC’s Solomon Asante from the spot as the Foxes claimed a 2-1 victory to break Phoenix’s 20-game winning streak.

Kendall McIntosh (POR) - #SLCvPOR, 9/14/19: McIntosh dove at full stretch to keep out James Moberg’s rising shot towards the top-left corner late in his side’s contest with Real Monarchs SLC at Zions Bank Stadium.

Alex Tambakis (NC) - #NCvOTT, 9/28/19: Tambakis dove at full stretch to keep out a long-range curling shot from Fury FC forward Hadji Barry in the first half of North Carolina’s 3-1 victory at WakeMed Soccer Park.
