TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 29 of the 2019 USL Championship season:
Loudoun United FC’s Nelson Martinez has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Memphis 901 FC on September 13. Martinez will be unavailable for Loudoun’s contest against Bethlehem Steel FC on Wednesday night.
Colorado Springs Switchbacks Assistant Coach Diego Zaltron has been suspended for one game following his dismissal from the technical area for irresponsible behavior during the club’s contest against New Mexico United on September 14. Zaltron will be unavailable for Colorado Springs’ against El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday night.
Tacoma Defiance’s Jesus Rubio and Danny Leyva have each been suspended for one game following their red cards for two cautionable offenses against Real Monarchs SLC on September 17. Both Rubio and Leyva will be unavailable for Tacoma’s contest against the Portland Timbers 2 on Friday night.
Memphis 901 FC’s Dan Metzger has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his eighth yellow card of the season against Loudoun United FC on September 13. Metzger will be unavailable for Memphis’ contest against Saint Louis FC on Saturday night.
Hartford Athletic’s Danny Barrera has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Louisville City FC on September 14. Barrera will be unavailable for Hartford’s contest against Ottawa Fury FC this Sunday afternoon.
Birmingham Legion FC’s JJ Williams has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Nashville SC on September 17. Williams will be unavailable for Birmingham’s contest against Indy Eleven on Friday night.
Real Monarchs SLC’s Konrad Plewa has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Tacoma Defiance on September 17. Plewa will be unavailable for Real’s contest against Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday night.
Reno 1868 FC’s Will Seymore was suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his eighth yellow card of the season against Tacoma Defiance on September 10. Seymore served his suspension during Reno’s contest against Austin Bold FC on September 15.
The Charleston Battery’s Taylor Mueller and Birmingham Legion FC’s Anderson Asiedu were each suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving their fifth yellow cards of the season. Mueller served his suspension during Charleston’s contest against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on September 14, while Asiedu served his suspension during Birmingham’s contest against Nashville SC on September 17.
The LA Galaxy II’s Nick DePuy, North Carolina FC’s Alex Comsia and Dre Fortune, and Sacramento Republic FC’s Keven Aleman are no longer under caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.
