USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 28

Chris Hubbard (LOU) - #HFDvLOU, 9/14/19: Hubbard backtracked well to keep a right-wing cross from reaching Hartford’s Ryan Williams before diving at full stretch to keep out Harry Swartz’s header moments later in Louisville’s shutout victory.

Matt Van Oekel (BHM) - #BHMvSTL, 9/13/19: Van Oekel reacted well to Tyler Blackwood’s first-time shot, diving to his right to keep out the effort in the first half of his side’s contest with Saint Louis at BBVA Field.

John McCarthy (TBR) - #TBRvATL, 9/14/19: McCarthy came out to the top of his six-yard box and just got a hand on Jackson Conway’s close-range shot to keep the contest scoreless early in Tampa Bay’s 1-1 draw with ATL UTD 2.

Kendall McIntosh (POR) - #SLCvPOR, 9/14/19: McIntosh dove at full stretch to keep out James Moberg’s rising shot towards the top-left corner late in his side’s contest with Real Monarchs SLC at Zions Bank Stadium.

Matthew Freese (BST) - #INDvBST, 9/14/19: Freese denied what looked like was going to be a sure goal, sprawling backwards to claw out a close-range header from Indy’s Ilija Ilic in Bethlehem’s visit to Lucas Oil Stadium.
