PITTSBURGH (September 17, 2019) - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC midfielder Kenardo Forbes has been named to USL Championship Team of the Week following a game-winning assist in the club's 1-0 victory against the Charleston Battery this past Saturday at Highmark Stadium.

Forbes posted his assist in the 69th minute, flying down the right flank and sending a cross into the penalty area to Steevan Dos Santos, who slotted home a shot from close range. The team captain also recorded a game-high four key passes.

This season, the Kingston, Jamaica native leads Pittsburgh with eight helpers, which ranks third in the Eastern Conference. Additionally, he leads the squad with 62 chances created, which ranks fifth in the conference.

This is the fifth time Forbes has been named to USL Championship Team of the Week this season.

Forbes and the Hounds are back in action this weekend, traveling to Nashville SC for a top-five showdown at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at First Tennessee Park.
