TAMPA, Fla. – There was plenty of work for goalkeepers across the USL Championship in the month of August as they combined for almost 500 saves, including some show-stoppers as the race for the USL Championship Playoffs heated up. We’ve picked out five of the best, now you get to vote on which one will earn the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month Finalists – August
Cody Mizell (NM) - NMvLA, 8/17/19: Mizell made a fingertip save to keep out a shot by the LA Galaxy II’s Mohammed Kamara from the left side of the penalty area early in the second half at Isotopes Park.
Eric Lopez (LA) - #AUSvLA, 8/10/19: Lopez made a spectacular double save to keep out Kris Tyrpak’s close-range header and a follow-up effort from Francis Atuahene in the second half of the Galaxy II’s 3-1 road win over Bold FC.
Cody Laurendi (OKC) - #OKCvAUS, 8/24/19: Laurendi guessed the right way and got down quickly to his left to keep out Andre Lima’s penalty kick in the second half of Energy FC’s 4-2 win over Bold FC at Taft Stadium.
Aaron Cervantes (OC) - #OCvSLC, 8/24/19: Cervantes reacted quickly to get down low to his left and parry a powerful volley from Maikel Chang over the crossbar early in Orange County’s 3-1 win over Real Monarchs SLC.
Chris Hubbard (LOU) - #CLTvLOU, 8/3/19: Hubbard showed off his athleticism with an acrobatic diving save to keep out a powerful volley from Charlotte’s Abdoulie Mansally as his three-save shutout helped Louisville take a 1-0 victory.
