TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 27 of the 2019 USL Championship season:
Rio Grande Valley FC’s Nico Corti will not serve a suspension following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against Austin Bold FC after an appeal by the club saw the original ruling overturned by the Independent Review Panel. Corti will be available for RGVFC’s contest against Tulsa Roughnecks FC this Saturday.
Hartford Athletic’s Jose Angulo has been suspended for one game following his red card for abusive language against Saint Louis FC on September 1. Angulo will be unavailable for Hartford’s contest against Loudoun United FC this Saturday.
Bethlehem Steel FC’s Jamoi Topey has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against the Swope Park Rangers on September 1. Topey will be unavailable for Bethlehem’s contest against North Carolina FC this Saturday.
The Charleston Battery’s Tah Anunga has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against the Charlotte Independence on August 30. Anunga will be unavailable for Charleston’s contest against Indy Eleven this Saturday.
Louisville City FC’s Paco Craig has been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his eighth yellow card of the season against Indy Eleven on August 30. Craig will be unavailable for Louisville’s contest against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Saturday.
Phoenix Rising FC’s James Musa was suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Tacoma Defiance on August 27. Musa served his suspension during Phoenix’s contest against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on August 31.
Austin Bold FC’s Xavier Baez and Fresno FC’s Qudus Lawal are no longer under caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.
