USL Championship Discipline Report – Week 26

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 26 of the 2019 USL Championship season:

New Mexico United’s Saalih Muhammad has been suspended for three games following his red card for abusive language against San Antonio FC on August 24. Muhammad will be unavailable for New Mexico’s contests against Orange County SC (Sept. 1), OKC Energy FC (Sept. 8) and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (Sept. 14).

Bethlehem Steel FC’s Faris has been suspended for three games following his red card for violent conduct against Birmingham Legion FC on August 25. Faris will be unavailable for Bethlehem’s contests against the Swope Park Rangers (Sept. 1), North Carolina FC (Sept. 7) and Indy Eleven (Sept. 14).

Birmingham Legion FC’s Zach Herivaux and Bethlehem Steel FC’s Sergio Santos have each been suspended for one game following their red cards for violent conduct during the contest between their clubs on August 25. Herivaux will be unavailable for Birmingham’s contest against Loudoun United FC on Wednesday night, while Santos will be unavailable for Bethlehem’s contest against the Swope Park Rangers this Sunday.

ATL UTD 2’s Andrew Carleton has been suspended for one game following his red card for violent conduct against Hartford Athletic on August 24. Carleton will be unavailable for Atlanta’s contest against Memphis 901 FC on Wednesday night.

Birmingham Legion FC’s Razak Cromwell has been suspended following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Bethlehem Steel FC on August 25. Cromwell will be unavailable for Birmingham’s contest against Loudoun United FC on Wednesday night.

Saint Louis FC’s Oscar Umar has been suspended following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Ottawa Fury FC on August 24. Umar will be unavailable for Saint Louis’ contest against Hartford Athletic on Sunday.

The Swope Park Rangers Alexsander Andrade has been suspended following his red card for two cautionable offenses against the New York Red Bulls II on August 24. Andrade will be unavailable for Swope Park’s contest against Bethlehem Steel FC on Sunday.

El Paso Locomotive FC’s Richie Ryan has been suspended following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Rio Grande Valley FC on August 24. Ryan will be unavailable for El Paso’s contest against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on September 4.

Swope Park Rangers Head Coach Paulo Nagamura has been suspended for one game following his dismissal from the technical area for irresponsible behavior against the New York Red Bulls II on August 24. Nagamura will be unavailable for Swope Park’s contest against Bethlehem Steel FC on Sunday.

Nashville SC’s Forrest Lasso and Phoenix Rising FC’s Doue Mala were each suspended for one game following their red cards for two cautionable offenses against the New York Red Bulls II and Sacramento Republic FC, respectively. Lasso served his suspension this past Saturday during Nashville’s contest with the Charleston Battery, while Mala served his suspension on Tuesday night during Phoenix’s contest with Tacoma Defiance.

Loudoun United FC’s Nelson Martinez, Birmingham Legion FC’s Mikey Lopez, Austin Bold FC’s Sonny Guadarrama, Louisville City FC’s Magnus Rasmussen, the Portland Timbers 2’s Foster Langsdorf and Nathan Smith have each been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving their fifth yellow cards of the season. Martinez and Lopez will be unavailable for the contest between Loudoun and Birmingham on Wednesday night, Guadarrama will be unavailable for Austin’s contest with Rio Grande Valley FC this Sunday, Rasmussen will be unavailable for Louisville’s contest with Indy Eleven this Friday, and Langsdorf and Smith will be unavailable for Portland’s contest with Reno 1868 FC this Saturday.

San Antonio FC’s Jack Barmby, El Paso Locomotive FC’s Omar Salgado, New Mexico United’s Santi Moar, Rio Grande Valley FC’s Romilio Hernandez are no longer under caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension for their fifth yellow card of the season. Here is the breakdown per club:
