PREVIEW: Riverhounds SC at North Carolina FC

PITTSBURGH (August 15, 2019) – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (11-3-8) prepares for an away game against North Carolina FC (11-5-7), which will be the Hounds' second away game in a row. The game will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park.

This will be Pittsburgh's second time playing North Carolina this season. The first time the Hounds battled North Carolina was at a home game last month, which ended with a 1-0 win for Pittsburgh. The only goal scored in this game was by Robbie Mertz with an assist from Neco Brett during the 27th minute.

The Hounds have an away record of 4-3-3, and they are coming off a 2-1 road win against New York Red Bulls II this past Wednesday. Pittsburgh is currently on a five-game winning streak.

On the other hand, North Carolina has a home record of 6-1-4 and is coming off a 2-1 victory against Memphis 901 FC. North Carolina has won three out of its past five games.
