USL Championship Discipline Report – Week 24

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 24 of the 2019 USL Championship season:

Hartford Athletic assistant coach Lucas Kruel has been suspended for five games and fined for referee abuse following the club’s contest with the New York Red Bulls II on August 10. Kruel will be unavailable for Hartford’s contests against ATL UTD 2 (Aug. 24), Saint Louis FC (Sept. 1), Loudoun United FC (Sept. 7), Louisville City FC (Sept. 14) and Ottawa Fury FC (Sept. 22).

Hartford Athletic’s Raymond Lee has been suspended for three games following his red card for violent conduct against the New York Red Bulls II on August 10. Lee will be unavailable for Hartford’s contests against ATL UTD 2 (Aug. 24), Saint Louis FC (Sept. 1) and Loudoun United FC (Sept. 7).

Austin Bold FC assistant coach Lee Stookberry has been suspended for one game following his dismissal from the technical area for irresponsible behavior during the club’s contest with the LA Galaxy II on August 10. Stookberry will be unavailable for Austin’s contest against Tulsa Roughnecks FC this Saturday.

Hartford Athletic’s Alex Davey has been suspended for one game following his red card for denial of a goalscoring opportunity against the New York Red Bulls II on August 10. Davey will be unavailable for Hartford’s contest against ATL UTD 2 on August 24.

Austin Bold FC’s Demar Phillips and Jermaine Taylor have each been suspended for one game following their red cards for two cautionable offenses and serious foul play, respectively, against the LA Galaxy II on August 10. Phillips and Taylor will be unavailable for Austin’s contest against Tulsa Roughnecks FC this Saturday.

The Charleston Battery’s Leland Archer has been suspended for one game following his red card for violent conduct against Saint Louis FC on August 10. Archer will be unavailable for Charleston’s contest against Loudoun United FC on Wednesday night.

El Paso Locomotive FC’s James Kiffe has been suspended for one game following his red card for violent conduct against Phoenix Rising FC on August 10. Kiffe will be unavailable for El Paso’s contest against Tacoma Defiance on Saturday night.

Reno 1868 FC’s Eric Calvillo has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against San Antonio FC on August 10. Calvillo will be unavailable for Reno’s contest against Phoenix Rising FC on Friday night.

New Mexico United’s Manny Padilla has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against the Portland Timbers 2 on August 11. Padilla will be unavailable for New Mexico’s contest against the LA Galaxy II this Saturday.

Birmingham Legion FC’s Kyle Culbertson, the Charleston Battery’s Vincenzo Candela, the LA Galaxy II’s Carlos Harvey, Las Vegas Lights FC’s Irvin Parra and Preston Tabort Etaka, New Mexico United’s Josh Suggs, the Portland Timbers 2’s Eryk Williamson and Reno 1868 FC’s Kevin Partida have each been suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving their fifth yellow cards of the season. Culbertson will be unavailable for Birmingham’s contest with Memphis 901 FC on Saturday, Candela will be unavailable for Charleston’s contest with Loudoun United FC on Wednesday, Harvey will be unavailable for LA’s contest with New Mexico United on Saturday, Parra and Tabort Etaka will be unavailable for Las Vegas’ contest with Orange County on Saturday, Suggs will be unavailable for New Mexico’s contest against the LA Galaxy II on Saturday, Williamson will be unavailable for Portland’s contest with OKC Energy FC on Friday, and Partida will be unavailable for Reno’s contest with Phoenix Rising FC on Friday.

Memphis 901 FC’s Cam Lindley was suspended for one game following his red card for serious foul play against Saint Louis FC on August 6. Lindley served the suspension during Memphis’ contest against North Carolina FC on August 10.

Hartford Athletic’s Mads Jorgensen was suspended for one game for caution accumulation after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season in Hartford’s contest against Nashville SC on August 7. Jorgensen served the suspension during Hartford’s contest against the New York Red Bulls II on August 10.

Nashville SC’s Lebo Moloto and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC’s Joe Greenspan are no longer under caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension for their fifth yellow card of the season. Here is the breakdown per club:
