TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced on Tuesday the postponed contest between El Paso Locomotive FC and the Portland Timbers 2 will now be played on Tuesday, October 15 with kickoff set for 9 p.m. ET at Southwest University Park.
The contest, originally scheduled for August 3, was postponed due to the tragedy suffered in the El Paso community earlier that day. The contest will serve as the first game of a two-game trip to Texas for Portland to conclude the regular season, with T2 set to visit Rio Grande Valley FC on Friday, October 18 in its final game.
Locomotive FC will be back in action this Saturday night when it hosts Tacoma Defiance at Southwest University Park at 9:30 p.m. ET, while Portland will play host to OKC Energy FC this Friday night at Providence Park with kickoff set for 10:30 p.m. ET.
