BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 19, 2019) – Birmingham Legion FC announced today a mutual agreement has been reached with defender Marcel Appiah to terminate his contract with the club.
“We appreciate Marcel’s efforts for the club while here in Birmingham,” said Legion FC President and General Manager Jay Heaps. “He has an opportunity to return to Germany, and we feel like it’s a mutually beneficial option for both parties. He’s a true professional, and we wish him the best moving forward.”
