MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Friday a brand-new signature line of apparel, the Memphis 901 FC Summer 2019 Collection. While the club has previously partnered with notable athletic brands such as Nike and ’47 Brand, you’ll find the tags on this line only read “Memphis 901 FC.” Designed with fans and supporters of the Club in mind along with the casual and sophisticated soccer fan, the eclectic collection is sure to please a wide array of fashion tastes. A fall/winter line will launch later this year.
The first opportunity to purchase items from this collection comes at tomorrow’s match against Hartford Athletic beginning at 6 p.m. at the AutoZone Park Team Store.
“When we first launched our Club this past fall, our goal was to distinguish ourselves from the norm and be trendsetters – whether it was our crest, our matchday experience, or our brand,” Memphis 901 FC President Craig Unger said. “As we continue to evolve both on and off the pitch, today’s launch is yet another example of why we brought professional soccer to Memphis – to be involved in the global soccer conversation. Fashion is an important piece in that dialogue. Soccer fans and Memphians have a certain attitude, take pride in their passions, and express themselves via the clothes they wear. We’re excited to provide a unique look for our fans in the 901 and abroad.”
The apparel includes t-shirts, polos and tanks for men, women, and children. The style is a blend of local aesthetic, European flare, contemporary soccer fashion, and streetwear. The crown element from the Club’s crest – a fan favorite – is prominently featured, the Club’s slogan “Defend Memphis” makes its fashion debut, and a rugby style polo with “Memphis 901 FC” emblazoned on the front shouts association football.
