TAMPA, Fla. – Louisville City FC midfielder Paolo DelPiccolo has claimed the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week for Week 17 of the 2019 season for his outstanding free kick last Saturday night against Indy Eleven in at Lucas Oil Stadium.

DelPiccolo’s first goal of the 2019 season was picture perfect as he curled a free kick sitting 25 yards from goal just right of center into the top-right corner of the net. The finish earned the visitors a 1-1 draw against the Eleven in the first LIPAFC clash of this season.

DelPiccolo’s goal took 56 percent of the poll conducted online at USLChampionship.com that concluded on Thursday lunchtime. Phoenix Rising FC’s Amadou Dia finished second on 16 percent for his weaving individual run and finish against the Portland Timbers 2 while Austin Bold FC’s Francis Atuahene finished third on 14 percent for his remarkable curled finish against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC last Saturday night.
