USL Championship Discipline Report – Week 16

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL’s discipline report for Week 16 of the 2019 USL Championship season:

Bethlehem Steel FC’s Faris has been suspended for one game following his red card for violent conduct against Saint Louis FC on June 15. Faris will be unavailable for Bethlehem’s game against the Tampa Bay Rowdies this Saturday.

Tacoma Defiance FC’s Azriel Gonzalez has been suspended for one game following his red card for violent conduct against Austin Bold FC on June 15. Gonzalez will be unavailable for Tacoma’s game against Rio Grande Valley FC on July 6.

The LA Galaxy II’s Omar Ontiveros has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Reno 1868 FC on June 15. Ontiveros will be unavailable for the Galaxy II’s game against New Mexico United this Saturday.

Saint Louis FC’s Oscar Umar has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against Bethlehem Steel FC on June 15. Umar will be unavailable for Saint Louis’ game against North Carolina FC this Saturday.

Louisville City FC’s Paco Craig and the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Dominic Oduro have each been suspended for one game for caution accumulation following their fifth yellow card of the regular season. Craig will be unavailable for Louisville’s game against the Charlotte Independence this Saturday, while Oduro will be unavailable for Tampa Bay’s game against Bethlehem Steel FC this Saturday.

The Charleston Battery’s Vincenzo Candela, Orange County SC’s Harry Forrester and Phoenix Rising FC’s Adam Jahn are no longer on caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place them on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension for their fifth yellow card of the season. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Las Vegas Lights FC (2): Cristhian Hernandez, Junior Sandoval

  • Memphis 901 FC (2): Marc Burch, Wesley Charpie

  • Nashville SC (1): Lebo Moloto

  • New Mexico United (1): Santi Moar

  • North Carolina FC (1): Sam Brotherton

  • OKC Energy FC (1): Atiba Harris

  • Orange County SC (1): Daniel Crisotomo

  • Real Monarchs SLC (2): Jack Blake, Douglas Martinez

  • Reno 1868 FC (1): Will Seymore

  • Rio Grande Valley FC (1): Romilio Hernandez

  • San Antonio FC (1): Michael Lahoud
