Throughout the past decade, the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup has provided a stage for USL Championship clubs to either make a name for themselves on the national stage or continue to burnish their reputations as a club to be contended with in the national knockout tournament.

From the Richmond Kickers’ run to the semifinals in 2011 to more recent runs by clubs like Sacramento Republic FC and Louisville City FC, Championship clubs have made waves against opponents from Major League Soccer as they seek to become the first lower-division club to reach the final since the Charleston Battery in 2008.

Ahead of next week’s Fourth Round of this year’s Open Cup – which sees 10 Championship clubs going up against MLS opposition – we’d like you to rank 10 of the top Cupsets from seasons past.
