USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month Finalists – May

Zac Lubin (PHX) - #PHXvRGV, 5/10/19: Lubin produced a sensational double-save, palming away an initial shot before guiding a rebound effort onto the post with his foot, to protect Phoenix’s lead in a 3-1 victory over the Toros at Casino Arizona Field.

Cody Mizell (NM) - #NMvSA, 5/5/19: Mizell stood up well to parry away a one-on-one chance for San Antonio’s Brian Gomez to keep NMU ahead early in the second half of Sunday evening’s contest.

Cody Mizell (NM) - #COSvNM, 5/18/19: Mizell continued his strong season with a tipped save to deny a good header by Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s Mike Seth at Weidner Field.

Alex Tambakis (ELP) - #NYvNC, 5/24/19: Tambakis got across his goal well to make a fingertip save on a free kick by New York’s Jared Stroud bound for the top-right corner that preserved all three points for NCFC.

Matt Cardone (SA) - #SAvOC, 5/11/19: Cardone made a fantastic fingertip save to keep out a glancing header from Orange County’s Harry Forrester in the first half of his three-save shutout at Toyota Field.
