USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 13
Matt Cardone (SA) - #SACvSA, 6/1/19: Cardone got down quickly to deny a right-footed effort from Sacramento’s Villyan Bijev to keep the game scoreless just before halftime at Papa Murphy’s Park.
Cody Laurendi (OKC) - #OKCvLA, 6/1/19: Laurendi produced a right-handed reflex stop to preserve a five-save shutout against the Galaxy II for his second clean sheet in as many weeks.
Joe Kuzminsky (CHS) - #LOUvCHS, 6/1/19: Kuzminsky showed off his athleticism to parry a long-range effort from Louisville’s Speedy Williams behind for a corner kick in the Battery’s visit to Slugger Field.
Curtis Anderson (CLT) - #OTTvCLT, 6/2/19: The 18-year-old stretched to his left-hand corner to keep out a penalty kick from Ottawa’s Wal Fall and did well to pounce on the rebound before Mour Samb could follow up.
Matthew Freese (BST) - #NYvBST, 5/31/19: Freese did well to get two hands behind the ball and keep out a close-range effort from New York right back Edgardo Rito at MSU Soccer Park.
