LAST TIME OUT:

Hartford Athletic got their first USL Championship win with a 2-1 victory over Loudoun United on Sunday afternoon at Audi Field in Washington D.C. After a scoreless first half, Jose Angulo chipped the ball into the back of the net after a first initial save from Loudoun keeper at the 59 minute mark. After Loudoun leveled the match with a goal, Angulo answered right back, scoring in the upper 90 to put Hartford back in the lead 2-1. With great composure, Hartford continued to work the ball around for the remainder of the half and kept Loudoun from putting another one on the board.

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Hartford Athletic - Sebastian Dalgaard, F

Dalgaard was the catalyst of much of Hartford's offense on Sunday including a beautiful move that freed him up to assist on Jose Angulo's second goal on the afternoon. Hartford, who has scored two goals in each of the last two matches, will need more of the same from Dalgaard to keep the offensive outburst going.

Ottawa Fury FC - Thomas Meilleur-Giguère, D

Meilleur-Giguère leads an Ottawa defense that has only conceded 7 goals on the season. He has 59 clearances on the season and has also won 36 of a possible 53 duels, as well as 23 of 35 aerial duels. Hartford will have to find a way to neutralize his impact to get on the board on Saturday.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT:

Fury FC comes to Hartford fresh off a 3-0 drubbing of Bethlehem Steel FC. Christiano François put on a show, collecting three points with one goal and two assists. He had two decisive passes and two shots on target. Fury FC is unbeaten in its last four matches, with 3 wins and 1 draw in the past month.
