TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced on Friday the postponed contest between Saint Louis FC and Ottawa Fury FC will now be played on Wednesday, September 4 with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.
The contest, originally scheduled for May 4, was postponed due to the threat of flooding in the region. The meeting between the two clubs will now open a three-game road trip for Ottawa, which will subsequently visit ATL UTD 2 on Sept. 7 following its trip to Missouri.
Saint Louis FC will next be in action this Saturday night as it visits Louisville City FC for the first Kings’ Cup meeting between the rivals this season, while Fury FC will visit Bethlehem Steel FC on Sunday evening to round out Week 11’s action.
