LA, Las Vegas see out scoreless draw in Carson

LA GALAXY II (0) VS LAS VEGAS LIGHTS FC (0)

CARSON Calif. – Las Vegas Lights FC earned a point on the road after grappling with LA Galaxy II at Dignity Health Sports Park. Lights FC maintained a higher possession rate, but also created the game’s lone shots on target, the best of which came just six minutes in when Lights FC’s Pablo Cruz forced a good save off Galaxy II goalkeeper Justin vom Steeg. Over the course of the match, only Lights FC forward Irvin Parra would come close to breaking the deadlock, seeing a bullet of an effort land just wide in the 46th minute. The game’s final action came in the 79th minute when defender Galaxy II defender Armel-Don Tchilao was dismissed after a second yellow card, leaving his side to see out the final 11 minutes with 10 men.
