7 Indy Eleven
(4-2-0)
Week 8: L, 1-2 @NY
Week 9: TBR, NC
6

There’s no shame in losing on the road to the Red Bulls II, but this week’s visits from Tampa Bay and North Carolina are going to be a challenge.

(3-1-5)
Week 8: T, 3-3 POR
Week 9: SA
6
Last Week: 14
NMU put itself in position to win, but then salvaged a draw to keep in touch with Portland at the top of the standings.
9 Phoenix Rising FC
(2-1-5)
Week 8: T, 0-0 @SAC
Week 9: @OC
2
Last Week: 7
A point and a shutout on the road against Sacramento was a decent enough return, but we keep waiting for Phoenix to make its move.
10 Nashville SC
(3-2-2)
Week 8: T, 2-2 @PIT
Week 9: @ATL
2
Last Week: 8
It looked like NSC had produced a strong bounce-back victory until the Hounds found a way back, now three points in Atlanta is going to be essential.
11 Sacramento Republic FC
(3-2-2)
Week 8: T, 0-0 PHX
Week 9: @LV

(2-1-4)
Week 8: T, 2-2 NSH
Week 9: @CHS
1
Last Week: 11

Week 9: @SLC
1

15 Reno 1868 FC
(3-2-3)
Week 8: L, 0-1 @ELP
Week 9: TUL
2
Last Week: 13
The breaks just wouldn’t fall Reno’s way on the road in El Paso, but it’ll get the chance to move up in the standings against the Roughnecks this weekend.
16 Austin Bold FC
(3-2-2)
Week 8: W, 3-2 SLC
Week 9: @LA
3
Last Week: 19
Seven points from a possible nine on the homestand was a fine return and pushed Bold FC into the West’s playoff positions.

Week 9: @NY, @MEM
5
Last Week: 22

18 Real Monarchs SLC
(3-3-2)
Week 8: L, 2-3 @AUS
Week 9: FRS
2
Last Week: 16
The Monarchs continue to be great at home and poor away. At least that bodes well for Saturday’s visit from Fresno FC.
19 OKC Energy FC
(3-3-2)
Week 8: T, 1-1 @TUL
Week 9: TAC
2
Last Week: 17
A point on the road in the Black Gold Derby could have been more if not for the woodwork. Energy FC will want to make hay at home to Tacoma on Saturday.
20 Orange County SC
(2-3-3)
Week 8: T, 2-2 @FRS
Week 9: PHX

Last Week: 20
OCSC will have been disappointed to let its two-goal lead in Fresno slip away, but there were signs this side is getting close to a good run of form.
21 San Antonio FC
(3-4-1)
Week 8: W, 3-0 TAC
Week 9: @NM
4
Last Week: 25
A three-goal victory against struggling Tacoma was a job well done by SAFC. Sunday’s visit to New Mexico will be a much sharper test.
22 Ottawa Fury FC
(3-2-1)
Week 8: W, 2-0 ATL
Week 9: @STL
4
Last Week: 26
Ottawa continues to win the games it should, defeating ATL UTD 2 on Sunday. Now, can it find a win people aren’t expecting on the road in Saint Louis?
23 Tulsa Roughnecks FC
(4-3-2)
Week 8: W, 2-0 COS, T, 1-1 OKC
Week 9: @RNO
7
Last Week: 30
The Roughnecks showed they measure up to their in-state rival in Saturday’s draw. A road trip to Reno will indicate how they measure up to the rest of the conference.
24 El Paso Locomotive FC
(2-2-3)
Week 8: W, 1-0 RNO
Week 9: @COS
3
Last Week: 27
The goal to break the scoreless streak might have come from the penalty spot, but it gave Locomotive FC a very welcome boost in front of its home fans.
25 Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC
(2-4-2)
Week 8: L, 0-2 @TUL
Week 9: ELP
7
Last Week: 18
The Switchbacks are on a five-game winless streak after losing to Tulsa in midweek and need a serious turnaround this weekend.
26 Rio Grande Valley FC
(2-3-3)
Week 8: T, 4-4 @LA
Week 9: @POR
5
Last Week: 21
The Toros could have lost, should have won, and ended up setting for a 4-4 draw against the LA Galaxy II to keep them below the playoff line.
27 LA Galaxy II
(3-3-1)
Week 8: T, 4-4 RGV
Week 9: LV, AUS
2
Last Week: 29
It’s unlikely we see a reprise of last Wednesday’s eight-goal thriller when Las Vegas Lights FC visits on Monday night, but we can hope for one, right?
28 Atlanta United 2
(3-4-1)
Week 8: L, 1-4 TBR, L, 0-2 @OTT
Week 9: NSH
5
Last Week: 23
Back-to-back defeats put a serious dent in Atlanta’s goal differential and Nashville is in big need of a win when it heads to Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Saturday.
29 Bethlehem Steel FC
(3-4-1)
Week 8: --
Week 9: @LDN
5
Last Week: 24
After a week off, Steel FC gets to visit Audi Field on Friday night for Loudoun United FC’s home opener.
30 Las Vegas Lights FC
(2-4-1)
Week 8: --
Week 9: @LA, SAC
2
Last Week: 28
Las Vegas is currently in 17th place in the West, but with a win on Monday night it could jump into the playoff places. Big incentive against Los Dos.
31 Charlotte Independence
(1-5-2)
Week 8: T, 1-1 @TBR
Week 9: @HFD
3
Last Week: 34
There were things to like about the Independence’s road draw against the Rowdies, and now they get the chance to spoil Hartford’s home opener.
32 Loudoun United FC
(1-3-2)
Week 8: L, 0-1 @BHM
Week 9: BST
1
Last Week: 31
United just couldn’t hold on against Birmingham, sending the side into its home opener this Friday night on a down note.
33 Memphis 901 FC
(1-5-2)
Week 8: L, 0-1 CHS
Week 9: @LOU, BHM

Last Week: 33
Memphis did everything except score and got punished by Charleston as a result. Can it respond on a quick turnaround against LouCity on Tuesday?
34 Swope Park Rangers
(0-4-2)
Week 8: L, 1-3 @STL
Week 9: --
2
Last Week: 32
The Rangers are one of only two winless teams left in the league after their defeat at Saint Louis, and a fourth consecutive playoff berth is looking a long way away.
35 Tacoma Defiance
(2-7-0)
Week 8: L, 0-3 @SA
Week 9: @OKC

Last Week: 35
Sixteen goals against in four consecutive defeats is hardly defiant. Tacoma needs to find something, fast.
36 Hartford Athletic
(0-8-0)
Week 8: L, 1-4 @NC
Week 9: CLT

Last Week: 36
The road trip is over, but what sort of shape will the Athletic be in when they take to Rentschler Field on Saturday night for their home opener?
