MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Friday a partnership that will see 33 regular-season matches from the club’s 2019 USL Championship be televised live on WLMT CW30 in the Memphis market, beginning with Saturday night’s inaugural match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at AutoZone Park (7 p.m. ET | Match Center | Tickets).
In addition to the 33 home and away matches on CW30, Memphis 901 FC will be on national television on ESPNews on April 10 to round out the 34-match regular-season schedule. Every USL Championship regular-season match is also broadcast on ESPN+.
“We are proud to partner with CW30 to ensure that every match in our inaugural season will be available to fans on television,” said 901 FC President Craig Unger. “This local television deal will help us grow the Club’s footprint in the market, and we are pleased that out-of-town fans will be able to follow the action through the USL Championship’s agreement with ESPN.”
“Memphis 901 FC provides unique, live local professional sports content, said Joe Denk, Vice-President and General Manager of WLMT-TV. “This is just one more reason why CW30 is your local sports station.”
