TAMPA, Fla. – Another high-scoring month saw players across the USL Championship record more than 200 goals in the month of May including some superlative finishes that could be in contention for the league’s Fans’ Choice Goal of the Year. We’ve selected 10 of the best, now you get to vote for the goal that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, June 10th

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists – May

Junior Sandoval (LV) - #LVvSAC, 5/4/19: Sandoval opened his account for Las Vegas in stunning style, firing a dipping drive from 30 yards out into the top-right corner in Lights FC’s 4-2 win over Sacramento at Cashman Field.

Mitchell Taintor (SAC) - #SACvRNO, 5/11/19: Taintor thundered home a half volley from 35 yards out to open the scoring in the Donner Pass Derby against 1868 FC at Papa Murphy’s Park.

Justin Dhillon (TAC) - #TACvRNO, 5/18/19: Dhillon scored the fastest goal in USL Championship history as his header clocked in at just nine seconds to eclipse the mark of Ethan Zubak by a single second and help Tacoma to a 1-1 tie with Reno 1868 FC.

Shandon Hopeau (TAC) - #TACvFRS, 5/26/19: Hopeau turned nicely on a pass forward by Sam Rogers which allowed him to move into space and curl a shot into the left corner of the net from 25 yards out in the right channel.

Duane Muckette (MEM) - #MEMvBHM, 5/4/19: Muckette produced a one-time finish at the back post to cap off a brilliant feed by teammate Adam Najem and give 901 FC the lead late in the second half. 

Daniel Johnson (BHM) - #MEMvBHM, 5/4/19: Johnson was allowed a pocket of space 35 yards from goal and made Memphis pay by curling an inch-perfect effort past goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell into the top-right corner.

Nicque Daley (CHS) - #CHSvPIT, 5/4/19: The 18-year-old weaved through a pair of Hounds defenders before producing a side-foot finish past Kyle Morton from a tight angle to help his side battle back from a two-goal deficit.

Connor Presley (LDN) - #CLTvLDN, 5/11/19: Presley blasted a right-footed effort from distance past Independence goalkeeper Curtis Anderson to ignite Loudoun’s 3-1 comeback victory at Sportsplex at Matthews.

Jerome Kiesewetter (ELP) - #ELPvSAC, 5/18/19: Kiesewetter produced a fine finish with the outside of his right foot, guiding Edson Partida’s left-wing cross into the back of the net for his sixth goal in his past three outings. 

Zeiko Lewis (CHS) - #CHSvATL, 5/25/19: Lewis curled home an Olimpico from a corner kick on the right to the near post to equalize for the Battery against ATL UTD 2 at MUSC Health Stadium.
